Terms of use

These terms cover amandoti.win and Cluemaster Studio, the Codenames spymaster app at amandoti.win/cluemaster/play. By using them you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use them. How your data is handled is described in the privacy policy.

What Cluemaster Studio is

Cluemaster Studio is a free tool that helps you come up with Codenames clues. It sends your board to a language model, which can be the Cluemaster model running on your own computer or a hosted model you choose, and shows you what comes back. It is a personal project, offered as it is.

Using it without an account

You don't need an account. Without one, everything stays in your browser and your requests go directly from your browser to the model or search service you pick. Those services have their own terms and prices, and you are responsible for following them and for any cost they charge you.

Signing in

You can sign in with Discord to save your API keys and settings. You must be old enough to use Discord under its own terms. Keep your account secure. You can delete your account in Studio settings at any time, which erases what is stored about you.

Your API keys

If you save a key, you confirm it is yours or that you may use it. Saved keys are encrypted and are used only to forward your own requests to the provider you chose. You are responsible for what is spent on your keys, including by anyone who gets access to your account. Revoke a key with its provider if you think it has leaked.

What you may not do

• Use Studio to break the law or another service's terms.
• Try to get around the rate limits, sign-in or other protections, or overload or attack the service.
• Use keys that aren't yours, or use the service to harass or harm others.
• Probe, scrape or resell the service as your own.

I can limit or block access, including by IP address or account, to keep the service working for everyone. Requests are rate limited.

Model output

Clues come from a language model. They can be wrong, weak, or break the rules of Codenames, and the checks in Studio don't catch everything. Use them as suggestions. Output from a hosted model is subject to that provider's terms. Don't send anything to a model that you don't want that provider to see.

The Cluemaster model and benchmark

The Cluemaster model weights are released separately on Hugging Face under the Apache License 2.0, the same license as the base model, Ministral 3 3B Instruct by Mistral AI. Their use is governed by that license, not by these terms. The benchmark results published on this site describe how the model did on the tests described there and are not a promise of how it will perform for you.

No warranty

Studio and the site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. I don't promise they will always work, be available, be accurate or be free of errors, and I may change or stop them at any time.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or charges from third-party providers that arise from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that can't be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Studio at any time and delete your account in its settings. I can suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the service is shut down.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Using the service after that means you accept the change.
